Welcome to my world!, Blogging... hmmm was that even a word 10 years ago? I'll start by saying blogging or dare I call it writing isn't something that comes natural to me, unlike photography. I do enjoy reading other peoples blogs, perhaps I'm just nosey. I've found myself on a number of location shoots, outings, expeditions travels etc where I feel it would be a shame not to document and share my and insights and experiences. Looking back on my travels round morocco there are many images ive captured that i would consider more interesting than commercial and would like also to share this with an audience
So I guess the aim of this Blog is to keep and share a record of what I've been up to, what I'm doing what I've seen that interest me, if anything it's going to form a good reference for me in future. In the mean time feel free to trawl through my meandering blogs. Many thanks!

The latest Geek Girls Networking event at Newcastle Business School was once again a very interesting and inspirational evening. Former dragon Rachel Elnaugh from the BBC Dragons den Programme I was very impressed with, a fantastic public speaker and very engaging! Here's a collection of images from the evening, despite a good number of people trying to avoid me with my camera on the evening I still managed to get most of the attendees and a good number of people took away the images I printed on the evening so someone must have like them!
Look forward to seeing you all at the next event!
Best wishes
Sean
The North East's fantastic free culture crawl, The Late Shows, ran again for the third year this year. Over the weekend of the Friday 15 May and Saturday 16 May 2009, Newcastle Gateshead's culture scenes opened its doors to the public giving greater access and interesting insights into artists and venues giving a unique insight into the growing cultural diversity the region has to offer.
Over the Friday and Saturday evening Sean invited Lateshows visitors at the Biscuit Factory the opportunity to have their portrait taken professionally for free. The intention was to photograph, process, print and display a growing collective of unique and interesting portraits. Despite the torrential rain there was a fantastic turnout and over 300 portraits were taken. Each end every print was peg on a line and displayed in such a fashion the growing body of work started to take a form of its own.
Anyone who attended and volunteered themselves to be pictured and invited back to the gallery to collect their images any time during Biscuit factory opening hours. Between the Monday 18th and the Monday 25th of May. Sean would like to extend his thanks to all participants, and also to the staff at both the Biscuit Factory and the Lateshow staff who were all incredibly helpful; in assisting and promoting this event. Watch out for similar photographic participation activities in the near future!
